Do you want to be a part of the next project?

Right now, the main auditions for Fiddler on the Roof have already been held. We do, however, still have some spots available in our orchestra. We are specifically looking for the following instruments:

  • Accordeon
  • Clarinet (Bb & bass)
  • Trumpet
  • Trombone
  • Strings

Don’t play an instrument? You are still welcome to help out in one of our committees! Send us a message if you’re interested in decor, costume, promotion or acquisition.

Prefer being on stage during the performances? The roles have already been divided, but you can always send the board a message and we will see what we can do for you.

Large-scale cultural collaborations

International Student Productions Enschede supports students in the Enschede region, the Netherlands with producing their own collaborative projects. InSPE’s projects are bigger and more ambitious than any single association’s performances, including students from the University of Twente, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, ArtEZ University of the Arts, AKI Academy of Art & Design, and Regional Community College of Twente.

InSPE’s two previous collaborations have been productions of the musicals “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “West Side Story”, both featuring a large cast and a full orchestra.

Professional guidance

InSPE works with a team of experts from the fields of directing, conducting, and choreographing. The participants get skilled coaching on a personal level and first-hand experience with working in a professional production environment.

Multidisciplinary people

InSPE’s projects bring together people with different backgrounds and interests. Productions include participants from various artistic disciplines, such as dance, theatre, music, design or stagecraft, but also from supporting domains, such as marketing, communications or community management. Each participant becomes a unique addition to the project, resulting in a mixture of wonderful people.

Exchanging knowledge and engaging with alternative disciplines than what the participants are commonly active in is encouraged and supported by InSPE with professional coaching. Doing so widens the participants’ artistic skillset and their understanding of the cultural landscape as a whole.
